BRTTH Unveils Its Commemorative Marker and Hosts the 600-Bed Capacity Building


Ground-breaking Ceremony

 May 29, 2018—BRTTH finally came to the 100th day of its three-month long centennial celebration that started with a kick-off activity last February 19, 2018. The second part of its whole day-program highlighted two symbolic activities, particularly Asst. Secretary Nestor Santiago and Administrative Building to the unveiling of the commemorative marker and the ground-breaking ceremony for the 600-Bed Capacity Building.

Together with the BRTTH Executive Committee Members Dr. Rogelio Rivera, Dr. Salvacion Macinas, Ms. Cecilia Dela Peña, Ms. Delia Atutubo and Ms. Nathalie Montes, the distinguished guests Cong. Joey Salceda, Undersecretary Lilibeth David, Undersecretary Ma. Carolina Taiño, Asst. Secretary Maria Francia Laxamana, Asst. Secretary Lyndon Lee Suy, and DOH ROV OIC-Director Napoleon Arevalo lead the ceremonies. These were all witnessed by the BRTTH Personnel and the chiefs of hospitals, both government and private, from all over the Philippines.

Afterwards, the BRTTH representatives and guests assembled at the BRTTH Heart Center Building for Dr. Rivera’s presentation on the Overview of the Centennial Celebration. Responses were given by Cong. Salceda, Undersecretary David and Asst. Secretary Laxamana, expressing their continued and utmost support to the institution for its present and future endeavours.
