BRTTH holds PRAISE 2021
To recognize exemplary performance of employees in the year 2021, the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital organized the hospital-wide annual Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) via Zoom last December 28, 2021.
The virtual activity kicked off with opening remarks by Dr. Eric Raymond N. Raborar, Medical Center Chief II who explained that the PRAISE was a means to show appreciation for employees who served as good examples and representatives of their respective work areas, and to commend all employees for their dedication despite the on-going pandemic.
During the program, plaques of appreciation were awarded to the different teams directly involved in the care of COVID-19 patients. Special commendations were presented to personnel retiring in 2022. A simple tribute was also held for departed personnel.
Intermission numbers enliven the online event for participants were Christmas Jingle Competitions, and Tiktok Challenges held among the four major departments, which were all won by the Administrative Department. Raffle draws were made throughout the program, with five major prizes at the end.
In their inspirational messages, Dr. Honey May P. Raborar, OIC Chief of Medical Professional Staff emphasized the management’s gratitude to all employees especially those assigned in COVID-19 areas and wished a better and safer COVID-free 2022 for everyone; Ms. Mary Nathalie M. Cadag, Financial Management Officer, affirmed that each employee made a huge contribution to the institution whether assigned in offices, on the grounds, or in the wards. Ms. Marlyn A. Daguno, Chief Nurse prayed that everyone will be “blessed with all the things that we need and be blessings to others as well, especially to our clients.”
Concluding the event was Mr. Peter B. Almonte, Chief Administrative Officer, who declared that even with difficulties posed by the pandemic, the tradition of giving honor to acknowledge the hard work of employees through PRAISE will continue. BRTTH has been holding PRAISE activities since 2019 in compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 01, series of 2001 of the Civil Service Commission.
