BRHMC Boosts Employee Tech Skills thru CompLit Training
Continuing its virtual training program for computer literacy among employees, the Bicol Regional Hospital and Medical Center (BRHMC) conducted 2 more batches (5th and 6th) of CompLit trainings on July 6-7 and July 13-14, 2022 respectively.
The Professional Education, Training, and Research Office (PETRO) collaborated with the Integrated Hospital Operations and Maintenance Program (IHOMP) Unit to provide training for the acquisition of skills related to essential Office applications, as well as serve as a refresher for those with background in the use of personal computers. A total of 81 hospital employees participated in the activity, which was held via Zoom application.
Resource Speakers Ms. Luna Sabiñano, Ms. Marivic Millete, Mr. Jimelito Rico, Mr. Vergel Banday, and Mr. Franklin Secretario from the IHOMP Unit focused on procedural tasks in handling software apps and virtual platforms. Topics included basic operations in Microsoft and Google Applications such as using MS Word and Excel as well as handling Google Drive and Slides. The speakers also tackled step-by-step procedures in creating, deleting, sharing, and personalizing restrictions in these virtual platforms.
