Clean-up Session

March 20, 2019

The Department of Health issued Department Order No. 2019-0036 “Implementing Guidelines of Performance Governance system and the Office Performance Commitment and Review as its Cascading Framework” last February 28, 2019 and is aimed to integrate existing performance management systems to improve the processes and tools and to ensure organization alignment, efficiency and effectiveness.

With this, the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital (BRTTH) has tapped the Institute for Solidarity in Asia to facilitate the cascading of the BRTTH Strategy Map and the Enterprise Scorecard which are essential elements of the Performance Governance System (PGS). This program design covers the refinement of BRTTH’s Strategy Map and Enterprise Scorecard, as well as the cascading of these to its Operating and Support units. ISA capacitated the organization’s unit heads to ensure that BRTTH is progressing to fulfill the targets in its Scorecard.

The PGS clean-up session primarily focused on the review of BRTTH strategy map and enterprise scorecard in order to refine the organization’s basic governance documents. Among the activities of the 1-day clean-up session includes review of strategy map and enterprise scorecard as well as the finalization of cascading session schedule and agenda. The event ended up with the finalized documents to be utilized and cascaded among the different areas of the hospital.
