BRTTH Maintains ISO 9001 Certification

Prerequisite to the virtual audit was a capability assessment held on November 24 to check the readiness of the hospital for remote audit and troubleshoot problems relating to internet connection and multimedia devices.  A two-day mock audit was also organized one week prior to the scheduled surveillance audit to guarantee a seamless event.

TUVR team leader Mr. Eric Santos and his members Dr. Raynaldo Lim, Ms. Jogina Mendiola, Mr. Rolando Remitar, and Mr. Ray Alimanza assessed documents of different divisions assigned to them before and during the scheduled audit, and took virtual tours to observe the process flow for vital and other services.  Areas audited include clinical wards and special areas, offices under the administrative, finance, and medical divisions, as well as committees and offices directly under the medical center chief.

During the closing meeting, both parties agreed on audit findings and the TUVR team recommended ISO recertification, congratulating BRTTH on another successful audit.  BRTTH has been ISO-QMS certified since 2014 when it first applied for certification under the ISO 9001:2008 standard.  In 2018, the hospital conducted vigorous reorientation of personnel and revision of process manuals in order to transition to the 9001:2015 version of the standard.
